Program Overview
Our History
After over 20 years of practicing global medicine we decided to found MedLingua, a medical spanish immersion program designed to help medical professionals gain exposure to global health while also learning spanish. At MedLingua you will spend both time in our designated hospital shadowing experienced doctors as well as participate in personalized group spanish classes specializing in medical spanish.
What to expect
Your day begins with breakfast provided at Casa Arev. you will then be transported to your designated hospital site where you will spend half of the day shadowing physicians and participating in community health fairs. After you will be picked up and transported back to your lodging for your included lunch. The second half of the day will be spent in group spanish classes taught by highly qualified teachers learning how to improve your spanish and communication with spanish speaking patients. After class you are free to explore the area, study, rest. Weekends are free to relax or explore. This program is tailored for you!
Spanish Courses
Our program is tailored to fit your needs as a learner bth in the hospital and outside. We offer more intensive spanish courses at all levels as well as the opportunity for you to take time to explore. If you have any specific accommodation requests please don't hesitate to ask.
